About Us

We are Emma & Brenda and are very happy that you have taken the time to visit our page and we would love you to follow our journey and our blog as we progress. We will chart our progress, our exercise routines, our healthy eating and we will even let you know of our down falls. We are aiming to complete a charity challenge in 2019. Our mid-life challenge begins now.

Brenda – I am an engineer based in an office driving a desk and as such not as fit as I once was. As I speedily approach that fantastic half century, I have decided it is time for change. Over the years I have battled with mental health which has put paid to exercising in the past. I have since conquered my mental health and in a good position there and now have decided to conquer my fitness. I have started going to the gym and have decided, for extra motivation, to embark on a mid-life challenge and share my progress to keep me on track.
Emma – five years ago my life got turned upside down as my health took a nose dive and I became chronically ill with Panhypopituitarism, a condition that affects all the glands and production of hormones. I am now managing my health and ready to face living again. I want to share my journey with you and let you know that no matter how hard it is there is always hope. Life is for living.
